A Diaspora-Led Integrated Development

About us

Idoani Reborn is a bold, diaspora-led development initiative committed to transforming Idoani into a thriving centre of opportunity, culture, and sustainable growth. Idoani is a historic town in Ondo State, rich in heritage, fertile land, spiritual significance, and natural beauty. For generations, it has been a place of identity and origin. Yet today, much of its economic potential remains untapped, and many only return to remember the past rather than build the future. We believe that must change.

Our Vision

Our vision is to reposition Idoani as a model rural town—where tradition meets innovation, and where people come to live, invest, learn, and experience.

We are working to establish Idoani as a hub for:

  • World-class education
  • Agricultural innovation and agri-tech
  • Eco-tourism and cultural heritage tourism
  • Rural enterprise and job creation
  • Modern infrastructure and connectivity

Our Approach

Idoani Reborn is not a concept—it is a structured, phased, and investable development plan.

Our approach is built on six integrated pillars:

  1. Infrastructure First – Improving access, especially the Owo–Idoani road
  2. Tourism Development – Unlocking the mountain and cultural assets
  3. Education Anchor Project – A world-class preparatory boarding school
  4. Diaspora Engagement – Mobilising skills, networks, and investment
  5. Agri-Tech Transformation – Modernising agriculture for scale and export
  6. Cultural Preservation – Protecting and monetising heritage

Each pillar is designed to work together—creating a self-sustaining ecosystem of growth.

Who We Are

We are a collective of Idoani indigenes and partners across the globe—professionals, entrepreneurs, investors, and community leaders—united by a shared commitment to the future of our hometown.

Through the Idoani Diaspora Development Council, we are bringing together:

  • Knowledge and expertise
  • Financial investment
  • Strategic partnerships
  • Long-term commitment to impact

We are not just sending resources—we are building systems

Our Commitment

We are committed to:

  • Sustainable and inclusive development
  • Transparency and accountability
  • Collaboration with government and private sector
  • Empowerment of local communities
  • Long-term economic transformation
